Welcome to Trinity Catholic College Lismore
Trinity is the only independent Catholic College in the Diocese of Lismore. The College's history dates back to 1886 when the Presentation Sisters commenced Saint Mary's College.
Trinity was formed in 1985 when Saint Mary's merged with Marist Brothers' Lismore to form the new co-educational College. The Presentation and Marist spirits continue to be much valued by the school community.
The wholistic education provided by the school is aimed at assisting our students become confident, capable and compassionate young people who can make a valuable contribution to society.
Trinity is one of largest schools in the region and can provide its students with a unique range of opportunities in all key areas. Trinity enjoys an enviable reputation for its academic success, its excellence in the performing and creative arts, its student ministry and immersion programmes and its competitiveness in a wide variety of sports.
Our curriculum offerings are broad and all students are encouraged and guided to achieve their personal best. At Trinity we believe that every student has individual talents, and we therefore provide motivation and challenge for those with academic or creative gifts and comprehensive support for students with learning needs.
Our House System helps create an environment in which students feel safe, gain a sense of identity at the school, and become known and valued. Students stay in their allocated House for the duration of their time at the College.
No matter how comprehensive the information or how attractively presented it is, a website cannot replicate the special spirit that exists in the school. That is something that can only be fully appreciated when you visit the College and experience firsthand what the College has to offer.
